At uni we were asked to do a cover for the Guardian's G2 supplement, which involved buying the guardian every day for 5 weeks at a total cost of £30 (not weekends) reading all of G2 and then producing artwork for a cover before photoshopping it into context. We had to do one each day and also fit in living, earning money and doing work for 2 other tutors.
Obviously I said no, and did 5 GQ covers instead, I think they are much better than my 25 G2's would've been.
