My 10 steps to becoming a shit hot freelance creative
1 - Always answer your emails as soon as you read them.
2 - Never intentionally ignore a phonecall even if you think it's gonna be bad news.
3 - Make your bed each morning before you leave your house.
4 - Don't be afraid to tell people your ideas. If someone steals it and does it before you, you were probably never gonna do it anyway.
5 - Concentrate on the job you have on at that moment rather than ones that may come in the future. Now is all you have.
6 - Always say yes when a client offers you a drink.
7 - Never play it safe. Better to fuck up something difficult than to nail something easy.
8 - Never take on to much. Better to do 1 thing properly than 10 things shoddily. Shoddiness only gets hired once.
9 - Only work when you've got work to do. Better to go to the park or museum than stare blankly at a computer screen.
10 - Don't go to the same places or see the same people the whole time
And one for luck now that your making serious dolla!
Invoice immediately and learn to save money. Your not getting paid anything for 30 days and that's if your lucky.
